Directions for use:
- Sort and discard any damaged lentils and rinse.
- Place lentils into large stockpot.
- Add 1 1/2 cup water or stock for every 1 cup of dry lentils.
- Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 25 to 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Strain and cool to room temperature, and serve.
- Salt after cooking.
